Our dry transfers are bespoke to you and whilst they can be supplied in a wealth of colours we also offer three types of finish.
Dry transfers are supplied on an A4 or A3 sheet and are smooth, clean and provide a professional finish for prototypes, props, models, restoration and displays, looking like they were printed there.
They can be supplied in a coated or uncoated Pantone reference, a swatch you give us, or RAL colour, matching your brand guidelines or artwork.
You can then choose between three different finishes; matt/satin, gloss or foil. Here we discuss the differences.
Satin dry transfer finish
This is our standard finish and can look ‘matt’. It has no shine and can be used as an ‘etch effect’. This type of finish is idea for areas where there maybe spot lights, such as:
Showcases
Exhibitions
Gallery text or wall labels
Display cases
Museum displays
Products that prefer a ‘matt’ type of finish such as model engineering projects
Instructional text
Gloss dry transfer finish
This finish has sheen and is like a lamination. The closest comparison is a printed spot UV varnish you get on printed items, like business cards. Ideal for areas that have over area light, and product design, such as;
Products that require a stand out type of style
Add to a matt background to make them stand out
Props or models wanting a glossy finish
Foil dry transfer finish
Our foil finish is very shiny and reflective; the closest comparison is block foiling you get on hardback book cover designs or stationery. Perfect for items;
Projects that wish to replicate block foiling but for one offs such as
props for TV or film
in-store retail or window displays
prototypes
signage
Labels and packaging design for food and drink, health & beauty products etc.
